Itinerary:

Travel to the Kakheti region, the heartland of Georgian wine production, which boasts ancient traditions of winemaking using unique Qvevri clay vessels. You will visit local wineries for tastings and explore Sighnaghi, often called the "City of Love." This charming, fortified town sits on a hilltop overlooking the stunning Alazani Valley and the Greater Caucasus mountains, featuring well-preserved 18th-century defensive walls and cobbled streets lined with colorful, traditional houses.

Head to Gudauri, a popular ski and mountain resort in the majestic Greater Caucasus mountain range. The day's activities include a hike to the secluded Gveleti Waterfalls, a beautiful natural attraction hidden in a narrow gorge. You will also visit the iconic 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church (Tsminda Sameba), situated dramatically on a hill at 2,170 meters, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the town of Stepantsminda below.

Embark on a scenic hike to Juta Lake in the remote and stunning Kazbegi area. The trail leads you through alpine meadows and past the village of Juta, one of the highest settlements in the region. This high-altitude trek provides breathtaking views of the rugged Chaukhi mountain range and a chance to experience the pristine wilderness of the Caucasus.

Explore the unique and dramatic landscapes of the Truso Valley in Kazbegi. This hike takes you through a less-frequented region known for its surreal natural beauty, including mineral water deposits that stain the landscape in vibrant orange and white, boiling geysers, travertine formations, and fascinating abandoned villages with ancient defensive towers. After being transferred to Tbilisi, we will have a city tour in the old town.

Cross the border into Armenia and visit several of its most significant cultural sites. See Lake Sevan, a vast high-altitude freshwater lake often referred to as the "pearl of Armenia," known for its striking blue waters and the beautiful monasteries on its shore. Visit the Garni Temple, a remarkably preserved 1st-century Hellenistic temple, the only standing pagan structure in the country. Finally, explore the Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site largely carved directly into the rock face of the adjacent mountain.

Enjoy a comprehensive tour of Yerevan, the vibrant and historic capital city of Armenia, known as the "Pink City" due to the rosy-hued volcanic tufa stone used in its construction. Key highlights often include Republic Square, the opera house, and the massive Cascade complex, which houses a modern art museum and offers excellent city views. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
