Itinerary:
- 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Afqa Waterfall and Grotto
Begin at the legendary source of the Adonis River. The water gushes from a massive limestone cave in a dramatic cliffside.
Activity: Walk to the grotto entrance and view the cascading falls. - 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Scenic Drive to Tannourine
The drive from Afqa to the Baatara area takes approximately 30 minutes through high mountain passes. - 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM: Balou Baatara (Baatara Gorge Waterfall)
Visit this world-famous “Cave of the Three Bridges”.
Activity: A 15–20 minute moderate walk leads you to the viewpoint of the 255-meter drop. - 1:45 PM – 2:30 PM: Deer Feeding in Tannourine
Head to a local eco-site in the Tannourine valley, such as the area near Tannourine Valley Hotel, where deer sightings and feeding are popular. - 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Old souks walk and Late Lunch in Douma
Drive 15 minutes to the red-roofed village of Douma. We will have a beautiful walk inside the village and free time for lunch
