By booking or participating in any trip, tour, or activity (“Trip”) offered by LOA TEAM (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the Guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Assumption of Risk, Safety & Liability
A. Guest Participation at Own Risk
You acknowledge that adventure travel, including hiking, camping, rafting, and other outdoor activities, involves inherent risks and dangers that cannot be eliminated, regardless of the care taken. These risks include, but are not limited to:
- Physical exertion, accidents, injuries, or illness in remote locations without access to immediate medical facilities.
- Dangers associated with extreme weather, terrain, and natural hazards (e.g., rockfall, flash floods, hypothermia).
- Risks associated with local transportation, political instability, or criminal activity.
By booking and participating, you voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with the Trip. By reserving on any of the trips, you are accepting that you are participating at your own risk.
B. Guest Responsibilities
- Medical Fitness: If you have any medical condition, allergy, or disability, you must inform us in writing before booking. We reserve the right to request a doctor’s certificate.
- Compliance: You must strictly comply with all laws, regulations, customs, and standards of conduct in the areas visited.
- Guide Authority: You agree to abide by the decisions and directions of the guide or Trip leader, who has the final authority on all matters relating to the safety and well-being of the group. If a guide deems your conduct or fitness detrimental to the safety or welfare of the group, they reserve the right to remove you from the Trip without refund.
C. Limitation of Liability
LOA TEAM, its agents, and employees shall not be liable for any damage, loss (including loss of money, illness, injury, or death), delay, or inconvenience caused by or resulting from any act or omission by third parties (such as airlines, hotels, or independent contractors) or due to circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the cost of the Trip.
4. 🌿 Ecotourism and Responsible Travel
We are committed to sustainable and responsible travel. By joining our Trips, you agree to:
- “Leave No Trace” Principles: Pack out all trash, avoid disturbing wildlife or plants, and stay on marked trails.
- Respect Local Culture: Respect the local environment, traditions, and communities we visit.
- Resource Conservation: Conserve water and energy, and minimize waste.
- Ethical Interactions: Avoid purchasing products made from endangered species or contributing to illegal or harmful practices.
5. 🎒 Preparations, Gear & Expectations
Preparation details vary significantly by activity. The following guidelines are general; specific gear lists will be provided upon booking.

6. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lebanon.
